Lets you use a more powerful square drive impact with hex shank bits. We are driving Tapcon screws all day long with a Milwaukee I/2 inch square drive into concrete. Quicker than using the hex drive impacts.

This NOT that well made of a bit holder. The wire clip that is supposed to hold the bit is weak at best. I was using a bit holder in the 1/4 hex slot and wire retainer finally gave up. I needed this bit holder to set screws in a deck with my impact driver. Ended up using Epoxy glue and glued the bit holder into the hex head and this worked ok. After this I ordered a Milwaukee Unit and is MUCH better made. This is not up to normal Dewalt Standards.

with this adapter though, its no problem. speedloading bits and pummeling through materials is a breeze with the impact driver. although heavy and somewhat fatiguing its always got plenty of juice to get the job done this adapter is holding tough even with some of the more punishing jobs.

compare to Margarita, It is not stronger but better 1- smoother 2- cheaper 3- insert / release easier But shipping cost a little high but it arrived early 2 days, amazing. the wall is thinner than Margarita but I think it is good enough for home use. One notice maybe I should take 1/2 star off is it is a little difficult to take the short screw bit < 1 out of the head. But it is ok with everything else.

This thing rocks, we used it to drive 12+ grk into large timbers to make timber trusses and it worked so good. The only bad thing is I lost it but thats on me, ill definitely buy another one for the next project

I have not had a chance to try a Dewalt impact wrench, but an impact wrench Milwaukee, does not fit, is a bit loose.

Was hoping to leave behind my drill and carry a small dewalt impact wrench for ultimate flexibilty. however it isnt balanced, but this is for rough work. i suppose i can ad a counter weight but nah. dont try to use this with a small diameter hex drill bit with your impact wrench, or small diameter head drivers. actually found this cheaper at a big box store...
