So just as I state in the title, this is not a mat. Just because some subtle textured grip on one side, doesn’t make it a mat. It does not provide any traction, grip, or cushion. The only positive thing I can say about it is that my little guy enjoys the dinosaur pattern. If you want your baby to work on mobility, this is not the “mat” you should be looking at. And don’t buy in advance like I did - my son was going to PT and I got all excited watching him achieve all these mobility goals on their mats that I went and purchased this one about 4 months before he was even able to sit. Now it’s past the return window. Sucks.

Im a little conflicted on how to review this. The mat is quilt-like with a non-slip texture (think non-slip socks) on the underside. Its cute enough and could work for a boy or girl since it incorporates dinosaurs and the color pink. The package itself shows a dog on the mat, not a baby. There is also warning labels stating (including typos) keep awayerom babies and children. It also states Do not use in cribs, beds, carriages or playpens, this bag is not a toy bune. OPINION - As a parent of 3 kids, I cant really see this being an issue as a play mat for children 1-2 years and older. However, anything marketed to children that also carries such strong wording should make you pause and consider.

Im a fan of the 50 x 50 playpens that have been on the market for the past couple of years. Since we no longer need one for our kids, we use ours for fostering kittens and puppies. So, the floor gets a lot of use. This stays down and is easy to wash in a front-loader washer. The color did fade a little after washing, but nothing major. No off-gassing or weird odors. It came in a nice zippered case, but there is no way that I could ever fold this to fit back in. Its so lightweight that you dont need the case to move it around. Hope you found this review helpful!

This is literally huge! Baby can roll over and play safely on this. This is a little heavy but you can carry it around.

This is a nice quality mat that fits in my playpen just perfectly. I’m so happy I was able to get this mat. It’s nice and soft and a nice size, and really thick! It has a matching carrying case if you want to travel with it too. It washes and dries well for easy cleaning. I like how soft it feels, and is a cute print. We just love it! The dog on the packaging was kind of strange so if you’re gifting it you might want to remove it from that first.

This mats very big, plenty soft, and very easy to clean. Great quality.

Great mat! We use it in our living room for our son to play on and to be protected from the floor. Its more like a quilt in terms of thickness. The anti-slip backing is a must have so it stays in place. Washes easily in our washer and comes out soft.

This is great for leaving permanently in a playpen, or to carry around. Its well made and good quality. I like the slightly rubberized back so it wont slip if thrown down on a wood floor. The case has a handle so its easy to carry. Its a multi-layer quilted fabric with a nice design. It seems like it will withstand multiple washings. Im happy with it.

This is a really nice play mat. It is padded and has a non slip backing to help prevent it from moving around on hard flooring. You can use it on the floor by itself at home or on the go by packing it into the included travel bag, or you can use it in a play pen of the corresponding size. You can easily wipe it down or throw it in the washing machine to clean it. I like the designs that they offer. This is a really nice little play mat that has a variety of purposes and can help give your little one a safe and clean space to play, and offer you an easy clean up option when there are messes. Would recommend this to others who are in the market for a play mat.

This fit perfect in my daughters 50x50 inch playpen. Not to thick not to thin just right.
