Dickies Mens Dri-Tech Comfort Crew Sock

I gave up on Hanes because they are no longer comfortable, do i decided to give Dickies a try. There are 3 reasons why i dont like these socks: 1) Reducing the Cotton content. My package says 76% Cotton, so the remaining fibers are synthetic. Only 100% Cotton socks can be truly comfortable. 2) Reducing the amount of material to produce the socks. This is why the blood flow to my ankles is restricted. These socks are stupid tight. Not just uncomfortable but painful! 3) Made in Pakistan. Business owners & CEOs that offshore production should have their citizenship revoked. They may then live happily in Pakistan or China for the rest of their treasonous lives.

I will say I am not a fan of the word Dickies on the top of the toes section of the socks. I dont wear shoes in the house and when visiting people will typically take my shoes off at the door. This is an unnecessary and distracting feature of these socks.Even if it said Bill or Dave would not have wanted it printed on my toes. Dickies is just further insult. Should have been on sole or not at all. From first appearance they looked huge. I wear a size 10 1/2 to 11 and thought they would be too big but fit fine (Package says size 6-12). Comfortable and warm without too much bulk. I could and will likely wear them with dress shoes when necessary. Have not worn them long enough to give feedback on their wear. Minus the print I would have given them a 5.

I tried these out several months ago based on ratings I saw but didnt really believe they would live up to their billing. It turns out that they have exceeded my expectations. As a mid-weight sock they are terrific. They are suitable for fall through spring. They wear like iron but are surprisingly soft. They stand up very well to continued laundering. I would highly recommend them as an all purpose casual sock.
