Greater than one weekI carry my printer in my truck as I work as an inspector for constructions sites. I was concerned with direct sun light over the printer might damage it and purchased this. It works well. The cover gets hot of course but the printer doesn’t. It also keeps the dust away.

Greater than one weekI spent mega bucks on my Epson Eco Tank because its printer heads don’t clog with ink here in the hot dry desert like standard home printers. Therefore I want to protect this printer so it’ll last for many years. I like that the cover fits the way I like my pants: snug but not so tight that it’s hard to remove or put on. I actually wanted a silver cover so it wouldn’t show dust, but I took a chance on this one and I’m happy to say it’s got a fabric that isn’t a slick shiny black, so it doesn’t show dust if you’re a casual housekeeper:)

> 3 dayThe cover fit the printer absolutely perfectly! Its a nice heavy and sturdy material. Only gripe is there is no cutout in the back for the power cord, so I just fold the cover in the back. Otherwise, great product!

> 3 dayJust bought a new printer after my other one finally died. Printer is great, and I wanted to keep it in as good a shape as possible. I looked for a dust cover in a lot of places, but this one seemed to be the best for me. It is a heavy material, and fits perfectly. Only one thing could make it better, and that is to have a cutout where the cords attach to the printer. I noticed that the electric cord had to be pushed back in, but I still love this cover.

What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your printer, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run the printer. While you can wipe that dust on top away, the dust inside just keeps building up in a thickening layer and sticking to the electronics inside by static charge.
