> 3 dayI bought this because the Brothers Printer that I have doesnt have a method of preventing dust from getting into the document feeder and scanner. Sine I use my printer for personnel use and dont use it very frequently there is the potential for a lot of dust build up. This thing is made out of a very durable canvas or canvas like material. I cant see any reason that this cover wont outlast the printer itself. I would definitely purchase this again if I found myself in the unlikely scenario of owning more than one printer.

> 3 dayThis cover fits my Brother MFC-L2710DW perfectly. Its not too large, which would make it baggy, nor is it too small which would make it tight to slide on and/or expose the bottom of the printer. It fits perfectly, like well made custom tailored clothes. Except that this is for printers, not people, and its a cover not clothes. The material is nice too, its not filmsy, thin, and cheap feeling. It has some thickness and sturdiness to it; it feels very durable. Im glad I found this product. There are other, cheaper, printer covers on the market but for the money this is a good one if you want something nice to cover your printer.

> 3 dayI read lots of great reviews about this product, but the cost seemed a bit high for a simple printer cover. However, because I really needed something quickly, I took the plunge and purchased two of them for two different printers. I am so glad I did because these are very durable, attractive, well made and they do exactly what they are meant to do and that is to keep dust off of printers! I cant ask for anything more. They arrived extremely fast, were packaged very well and as far as Im concerned, are well worth the price now that I have them. I purchased one for a Brother DCP-L2550DW laser printer and it fits like a glove! Its absolutely the perfect height, width and depth. It couldnt be sized any better! I also bought one for an HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 which has a much lower profile and overall size than the Brother, and its cover was just as accurate in size. Now, I wish I could find the cover for an older Canon Pixma MP780 I have, but they dont have that model listed on their site. Neither cover that I purchased would fit the Canon, so I guess Ill keep searching. If you are still on the fence trying to decide what the best cover would be, you cant go wrong with these! They are very high quality!
What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your printer, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run the printer. While you can wipe that dust on top away, the dust inside just keeps building up in a thickening layer and sticking to the electronics inside by static charge. As it builds, it will definitely become dangerous -- causing your printer to run at high temperatures, and by then, the damage will be done.
