> 3 dayI bought this because the Brothers Printer that I have doesnt have a method of preventing dust from getting into the document feeder and scanner. Sine I use my printer for personnel use and dont use it very frequently there is the potential for a lot of dust build up. This thing is made out of a very durable canvas or canvas like material. I cant see any reason that this cover wont outlast the printer itself. I would definitely purchase this again if I found myself in the unlikely scenario of owning more than one printer.

Greater than one weekits exactly as described. Comparing to other covers, the price is a little high, but good quality. I assume the durability will be fine but have not had enough time to test that.

> 3 dayWe have lots of dust because we have a lot of wind blowing in through the windows. Its a lot easier to wipe the dust off the cover once a week than it was to try to keep the nooks and crannies of the printer clean. It fits well.

However, because I really needed something quickly, I took the plunge and purchased two of them for two different printers. I am so glad I did because these are very durable, attractive, well made and they do exactly what they are meant to do and that is to keep dust off of printers! I cant ask for anything more. They arrived extremely fast, were packaged very well and as far as Im concerned, are well worth the price now that I have them. I purchased one for a Brother DCP-L2550DW laser printer and it fits like a glove! Its absolutely the perfect height, width and depth. It couldnt be sized any better! I also bought one for an HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 which has a much lower profile and overall size than the Brother, and its cover was just as accurate in size. Now, I wish I could find the cover for an older Canon Pixma MP780 I have, but they dont have that model listed on their site. Neither cover that I purchased would fit the Canon, so I guess Ill keep searching. If you are still on the fence trying to decide what the best cover would be, you cant go wrong with these! They are very high quality!

Greater than one weekI have cats that love to sleep on the printer; however one gets so comfortable that she urinates on the printer. I have tried various coverings to prevent any damage to the printer but she always claws through the flimsy material and gets the cover off. The cover is really durable and I am hoping that this will prevent any damage happening to the printer

What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your printer, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run the printer.
