> 24 hourI really was looking forward to having a sturdy 45 adapter, and this certainly is that. One big problem, though: There is too much play around the spindle. The cheapo plastic one that came with my Music Hall turntable was tight to the spindle. To break the tie, I used one of those cheap yellow plastic adapters -- and that one was tight, too. Neither of the plastic ones had play. But this well-made, sturdy adapter did. Too much play for me. You dont want any play when youre talking about needle traveling inside groove. Any play will distort the sound. It will be going back, unfortunately.

> 24 hourCenter hole is about half a millimeter wider than the turntable center pin. Therefore there is a risk of mistracking. My turntabe is a Pioneer PD570

> 24 hourThis is 1000% better than those stupid plastic ones. This sits perfectly flush in the center of the 45. Its like night and day better playback with this over traditional adapters. Other adapters can cause damage this is perfectly designed imo.

> 24 hourNice weight to it so it stays in place. Cant wait to annoy my granddaughter with all the music I listened to in the 60s!

> 24 hourFit was correct. It is used for a 30 year old pioneer turntable I had recently started using.

> 24 hourO.k. so this isnt anything complicated. A bit of weight painted black. You would think it would be easy to get it right but not so. I have had two of these arrive and both have had defects in the finish (white spots, paint peeling, etc.). I would look for an alternative.
