> 3 dayWe received these as a gift about two years ago, and these are probably the best toy we own. Our youngest has loved playing with these as soon as she could sit up and reach for toys, and our oldest (2yr) loves building towers and knocking them down and playing in the water with them, and he loves making impressions using the animal designs on the bottom in clay and silly putty. (Im sure they would also be great as beach toys). I also love that they nest which makes storage easy. These are very sturdy cups. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is because, as other reviewers have mentioned, the numbers on the sides are rubbing off which is an issue since the printed numbers, etc. are an educational feature. I wish they were actually stamped/etched into the plastic. But ultimately, for our purposes, my kids dont care about whats printed on the sides - they just enjoy the mechanics of playing with them and thats what matters. I wouldnt hesitate giving these as a baby gift.
