I recently received a product for free and I must say that Im really impressed with its quality and functionality. The product is designed to fit most air gap bodies with solid brass inside and a black stoving varnish surface. It comes in a pack of 1, and its just the cap only. The dishwasher air gap cover is really easy to install, and it fits perfectly onto my dishwasher. This air vent cover feels solid and has a good weight to it - I have had them split and fail before, but this one feels different. The flared base is a perfect fit for the shoulder of the vent flange (see pic). I show a pic of the shoulder diameter because that is critical for a good fit but it is not mentioned in the item description. This cover makes an eyesore disappear, recommended!

Replaced a cheap plastic air gap cover. It has a nice matte finish to it and most importantly is brass so should last indefinitely.

I have a black sink and faucet and my old stainless steel gap cover stuck out like a sore thumb. Its amazing how something so small can make such a big difference! It popped right on and looks great!

The material used and finish is great. Oddly enough, the diameter is just barely too large to fit against the over counter airgap on my countertop. Perhaps this is to make it more widely compatible with varying sizes. I just added a lining of black electrical tape a few times over on the inner lip and it fits snugly now.

Before and after: so much better. Fits perfect, sturdy, great value and obviously easy to install as you just set on the vent. Not much else to say, other then if you don’t have a matching one like I didn’t get one!

My mistake for not reading the full description. This is just the cap. It is a nice quality cap, but for close to the same price you can get the full part.

Despite this Dishwasher Air Gap Cover being described as being a Universal Size, it was too wide for my Dishwasher’s Air Gap. I have to find a Way to replace the old, non-matching Cover with this modern-looking, sleek, Black Air Gap Cover to match the remaining Black and Stainless-Steel Theme of my Kitchen. Compared to the old Cover, this new Air Gap Cover is so much sturdier and made from Brass. The Outside is painted over.

This is an attractive cover that matched my new faucet perfectly. Easy to pop on. The venting holes do show the pipe under it and mine is white so if thats an issue for you then you might want another design or use black pipe.
