Cute compact umbrella to carry in your bag, but I think the case (with a hidden zipper!) is rather pointless. As soon as you open the umbrella for the first time it will be annoying to try to get it back into that case every time! I do like the black liner to help with sun protection and it does repel water. I was able to use it on a rainy day that was only slightly windy, but I dont think it will hold up on a very windy day. My only other peeve is that it takes 2 or 3 tries every time to get it to lock in place when opening. Not worth the price...I wouldnt order again.

I could not believe how small this folds up to. This umbrella is almost half the size of my normal small umbrella. Making it compact enough to throw into my handbag. I like that it has its own storage case/carrier. There is a strap for it to be carried like a side bag. The strap can even be tucked to the inside to keep from getting tangled with other items when stored into your bag. Just so happens it was raining (a steady rain, not a down pour, but heavier than a drizzle) the day I received this little umbrella. So I took it for a spin, and it performed well at keeps me dry. At first my issue was getting it folded back up to fit into its carrier once it dried. Which I’ve never been real good a getting umbrellas wrapped up very nicely. After about the third attempt I figured it out. Once I closed the umbrella I folded the handle portion up, and then wrapped it closed this did the trick. Done it several more times this way and it folded up nicely and fit back into its case/carrier. So happy that I bought this.

I took 1 star off as it is NOT easy to get back into the carrying case, but not impossible. Just dont bother trying while its wet... its just not happening. Otherwise, this is a decent umbrella that has been optimized to take up the least amount of space possible. The real test will be when I take on vacation to Scotland this year... can it withstand Scottish winds and rain? Well see! I may have to update this review. If I never update it... it still stands at a 4-star rating. Is it worth roughly $20? No. Id say $8 would be a fair price. However, if the price doesnt matter and you just need probably the most compact umbrella possible, this will absolutely fit that bill.

This is so handy. It’s made small so it can fit in a purse or bag. My son Carrie’s it in his back pocket when it’s going to rain. It’s made well. It also opens up to a regular size umbrella. It works great and so convenient

Im one of those people who always thinks that going to an outdoor market is a good idea because I always forget how frickin hot the sun is. Sometimes I have a hat and I always have my sunscreen, but I still melt in the sun. I keep a sun umbrella in the car for emergencies, but its huge and has a pointy end, so I feel like a dangerous doofus when I use it in crowded areas. This sunbrella is only 36 around so it just covers my personal space. It has a flat cap on the end so I cant accidently spear anyone with it. It packs into a zippered case the size of a eyeglass case for very large fashion sunglasses and the case has a shoulder strap so I can have my sunbrella anywhere even when Im not carrying a purse. It seems to weigh quite a bit when its packed up, but there is a lot of fabric in a small space. It is a fully manual umbrella so you have to push it out and pull it in, but its easy to do. I manage to get it crammed back into its case without extreme effort after use. The beige is more of a creamy yellow, but it casts a pool of complete shade and thats all I demand from my sunbrellas.

This is cute and compact can fit right in your purse. You can carry on shoulder with strap or hold it small enough.

I pulled this out of the hard-sided case and was super-impressed... then I tried to put it up and couldnt get it to lock in place, so I scrambled to find directions (none included), and dropped the star rating in my head down to two... then I found the little button on the underneath the canopy on the side at the top where you push it up to lock it into place and fell back in love with it. I just wish there were instructions so I wouldnt have momentarily been super disappointed. :) The umbrella itself is super small (just like in the picture) yet opens up to provide enough coverage for me. The ribbing seems sturdy enough as long as you arent fighting a windstorm, and the closing band is large to keep it all together. The case is a bonus, though the strap on the case is more like a ribbon. Overall, I love this little guy.

Im in love with these nifty little umbrella! I live in Southern California where its sunny and warm 80% of time, but I still want to protect my skin from sun damage. This umbrella is so compact yet opens to a good size for protection. It easily fits in my medium sized purse, backpack and the car glove compartment. The color is cheerful and happy, it opens and closes without any problem and the case comes with a strap. Ive taken it with me to the park and botanical gardens where it has shielded me in high heat! Everyone else was sweating but my face was still pristine!

Really love how its cute and compact so its easy to carry around! Only issue is letting the umbrella dry before putting it back in. The case isnt really water resistant and leaked water through eventually
