We both examined it and we both feel that it is an excellent travel umbrella. Its fabric is much thicker than the usual travel umbrellas my wife has gotten in the past yet it is easy to open, close, fold, and put back into its fabric case. Note that it is not one of those automatic open-and-close types which, in our experience, do not work well and break easily. It is manually open-and-close and I believe that this is for the best. It is very lightweight (surprisingly so) and it fits easily into my wifes purse. It is beautiful to look at and is very well-constructed of far better-than-average materials, especially the ribs, the frame, and the handle. And, as I mentioned, its fabric is much thicker than the usual run-of-the-mill travel umbrellas my wife has owned previously. At its current price ($32.99 - with your choice of colors) I feel that it represents excellent value for money. In both of our opinions, you wont go wrong in buying one (or more) of these beautiful umbrellas. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you for reading this. Lawrence H. Bulk

This umbrella is on the pricier side, probably because of this double layer cloth. First time I owned such thick fabric material for an umbrella. Im sure with such protection, its definitely good to shield myself from harmful UV. I have not tested this in rain to see how it holds up. Be warn, the thick layers of fabric also make it thicker when folded. I couldnt easily slot it back into the umbrella sleeve after using. With the price, I was hoping to get a push button automatic umbrella. Unfortunately this umbrella is your basic push extend and pull down collapse type.

the colors shift!!! its absolutely stunning up close, the pictures do it no justice. the construction of the entire umbrella is such high quality. from the frame to the hardware details and more, this thing is beautifully crafted. the extension bar is so sturdy and glides smoothely into place. once the umbrella is extended and open, the locking mechanism reveals itself and there is a satisfying clink when its been correctly positioned. the sound made when retracting is a little alarming at first, its a muted but distinct verification the tension has been released. the way in which the folds pivot helps properly manage water flow away from the body. excellent. its not heavy but there is some weight to it considering the high quality materials, the metal and wood work, that weight is to be expected. again the colors are magnificent and against the gold trim accents and accompanying wooden handle, its like being in some sweet space between a soft brilliant sunset and the multitude our mother earth. splendid <3

I really like this umbrella. Its UV protective for in the sun, but its also so thick and durable it does great in the rain. I feel like its going to last a long time. My only gripe is it is a PAIN to wrap the tab around it to snap it and secure the umbrella when closed. So I know there is no way Im going to get it back in its sleeve. But thats okay I still like it just the same. If my opinion changes I will update my review in the future.

This umbrella is easy to use and great for sun protection. The outside is pink (even if the color of umbrella you choose is another color - that color will be inside/the underside). I love how compact and travel friendly it is!

The umbrella is extra thick and should certainly block the sun rays. The opening of the umbrella is easy. The ribs are a more sturdy material than most and should hold up against a strong wind. However when you go to retract it it doesn’t naturally fold itself. It is a difficult to get it small enough to snap the strap around it and return it to its case. I would expect an umbrella in this price range not to have this issue. This is the reason I gave it a 3 star rating.
