Found the size that works for 2 threads of DMC on 14 count aida. 26 works well.

needle No26 broke in to 2 pieces after 3 days and hurt my finger

No problem with the needles. Just be aware that if the light package is delivered on a windy day, you may find it in your neighbor’s front yard.
