I am using it as a backseat cover and the openings for the dog seatbelts are on the perfect spot. This car seat cover is of a very good quality. Better then I expected. My dog loves to stretch out on the backseat on our trip. I did not use this as a hammock but only as a backseat cover.. I would use it as a hammock I didn’t put the small dog in a kennel for a long trip. I did not wash the cover yet but I did spray it off . That was very easy to do. This backseat cover is very easy to install and is very thick compared to other covers I have used. I would definitely recommend this car seat cover. It keeps my leather backseat from being scratched and damaged.
