I have a Cricut Maker 3 and use it to make cards and envelopes among other things. I ordered the two-pack and received a single and double scoring wheel tip along with one housing. Ive never owned the brand name version, but this one fits perfectly and works well. It appears to be well made. The tips can be swapped very easily, and I used both on a recent valentine project. I used the double wheel for the test run, and the single wheel for the actual card. I used 65 lb card stock and didnt see much difference between the two. Then I discovered the double wheel is for thicker materials like foam, cardboard and cork. Good to know! In any case, both versions of the project turned out great. This is a high-quality kit at a much better price than the name brand.

As the title suggests I have a Cricut maker. Mostly I work with vinyl, but I always wanted to do more with cardstock. This set allows me to do single and double scoring. Unlike using the knife on vinyl, the Cricut needs to know what the orientation of the roller making the crease is and whether it is a single or double score. The set lets you simply swap the two type of tips by pressing down on the small button at the top. Press it and the tip will fall off. Replace it and let of the button to lock it into place. When you place the tool in the machine and start a run you need to set which tip you are using (in my case it defaulted to the double score and I had to change it for the single score). Then when you press start on the machine it will spin the tip around until it is sure of the orientation of the roller, then begin. A nice tool to have as you focus on paper projects.

This scoring wheel works fine in my Maker, just like the one the Cricut came with. Its nice to have a backup in case something happens to the main one.

Great off brand scoring tool for the cricut. This fit in several different models that I own and works just as well as the name brand at half the price.
