The Dove exfoliating body wash has a strong and somewhat overpowering fresh linen scent. It isnt a completely unpleasant scent but it is not a scent I would normally wash my skin with. The exfoliating beads are gentle and pleasant to look at. The white cleanser mixed with blue beads is pleasing to use on my skin. The cleanser does moisturize my skin. I can feel a notable difference in my skin after use. It feels soft and smooth. Caution should be used on sensitive skin or areas that are sensitive. This is highly fragrant and could cause irritation. I think this is a nice product if you would enjoy the scent and are looking for something mildly exfoliating. -Suggestions for improvement- I think it would be beneficial to have more exfoliating particles and a little less potency of the fragrance. I would also like this formula in a different scent like cocoa butter, vanilla, raspberry, etc. This scent reminds me of fresh linen/baby powder scent that does not smell as relaxing or rewarding and I associate this smell with laundry.

Ive never had an issue withDove products and just recently, my husband only uses Dove products for men. I like this exfoliating wash. I exfoliate every other day but with a separate sugar scrub. I like the way my skin feels after. this has exfoliating beads but the are very very gentle however they do the job. its nice to exfoliate every day using an all in one. with my sugar scrub, i had to have that in the shower, and when i opened the lid, water would always get in there and eventually it just made a mess. i like having one bottle that does all of that. the only drawback is the size of the bottle. it is big and heavy. i dropped it every time. i think im going to put some in a smaller bottle so if i drop it, i wont break a toe. you can never really go wrong with Dove. they are as gentle as they come and i really dont know anyone that uses Dove products that had issues. ONe of my daughters has red patches on her arms and even she uses Dove bodywashes and she never has issues. if you buy this, you might want to think about holding aside a smaller bottle and filling it up. I do like the Dove deodorants also and if you have sensitive skin, give them a try too.

Was afraid of buying these because i get headaches from strong scents, but this is nice a moisturizing and doesnt smell strong!

Value for money

I was so excited to get to try this body wash from Dove. I dont know if this is a new line for them, but I do love it. I have dry skin and have patches on my legs and arms that give me trouble. I have tried sugar scrubs in the past, but they generally are pretty abrasive for me. I also have issues with very per-fumy or heavily scented products, and this body wash from Dove is none of those things. It is a great Exfoliating body wash formula and althought I have no idea what NutriumMoisture technology might be, I do appreciate that it is Gentle cleanser helps wash away dead skin for smooth looking skin. You dont have to use a lot, so these 4 bottles will last a very long time, making this a great value as well. The body wash does wash away nicely, without leaving a residue behind, so it is gentle enough to use every day. I have been using it about a month and I have already noticed how much softer my skin is and it has helped to even out the rough/dry patches.

I tried the exfoliating body wash. It came in a 4 pack and for the current price, its not a bad deal. These containers are large which is a bit of a negative for me as it makes them harder to handle in the shower. Ive dropped larger containers in the shower in the past and have put holes in the shower liner. Anyway these have a flip top which I MUCH prefer to the silly pumps which are hard to deal with in the shower and then hard to get the last of the stuff out. This is a pale bodywash with little lumpy blue bits in it--thats the exfoliating part. It was not too rough on my skin and left a nice moisture too. At first I was a bit disappointed in the scent. Dunno, I think Ive been spoiled by Jasmine lately, but after I used this for a while, the scent, which is delicate and not too strong at all, grew on me. Anyway, I liked this a lot. I was surprised by its gentleness to my skin. On the down side: it leaves little blue grains in the shower.

Gentle enough for sensitive skin

Ive been using Dove over 20yrs. The exfoliate also aids with my little ones eczema. WHAT I RECEIVED IS NOT AS ADVERTISED. If purchased in store the exfoliate has the little blue beads, this item does not, it also does not smell like the exfoliate one either. WHAT REALLY ARE YOU SELLING PEOPLE?!?!..... To be honest given the consistency of the soap I know its still dove, probably the sensitive skin one; which doesnt work as well for my sons skin. The fact of the matter is, its not what I ordered.

I usually use a pricey mall brand of exfoliating body wash. I don’t exfoliate daily though and as an everyday soap I use a bar soap as they are gentler on the skin than a body wash (which usually contain sulfates). Dove’s body wash is not as exfoliating as the mall brand so you don’t get that same smooth, renewed feeling. However, Dove’s body wash is much gentler, so gentle that I can use it every day. It does contain sulfates but not as a top ingredient. This body wash is much more affordable, and is in a nice large container, giving you enough to easily use it as a daily wash. The smell is a touch of classic Dove (which I like) with a subtle twist that makes it just perfect. This wash is thick and smooth making it easy to use and it feels great going on. My only con at all about this is the plastic container all body washes come in vs bare soap leaves no trash behind. The plastic bottle is recyclable though.

I shouldve read the reviews before purchasing this. Ive been using Dove exfoliating body wash for years. The soap in the bottle is not the same. Doesnt have the same smell or the blue beads. Im extremely disappointed.
