Dove has produced a winner. I live in New England and our winters sure are tough on hands. It is especially true this season, with the rampant flu. I end up washing my hands a lot more than I usually do. This really dries out my hands. Why I love this product: * It works and it lasts for several hours. * It is non-greasy and very light feeling. It just glides on my hands. * It is truly unscented. I have stopped using so many products because they have such heavy, artificial and awful scents. This product has no scent. * The convenient tubes. I love these tubes. I even put one in my purse so I can use it when I am out and about. If you are looking for a nice and effective hand cream, this is for you!

I am a frequent user of hand cream. I prefer a hand cream that isnt runny and doesnt leave a sticky residue on my hands. Most of all, I want my hands to feel moist and not dry after applying the hand cream. (Believe it or not, some hand creams make my hands feel dryer after use than they did before I applied the hand cream.) My first impression of Dove DermaSeries Fragrance-Free Hand Cream was that it was too watery. However, after using it, my hands felt good and not dry. I like the fact that the product is fragrance-free. My main dislike is the cap as it requires turning to remove. I prefer a flip cap, but, really this isnt a big deal. Overall, this is a hand cream that I would consider using regularly.

This liquid-like lotion absorbs quickly. It does seem to make my skin silky smooth for short periods. Its third main ingredient is dimethicone which is sort of like a filler as it fills in the cracks of dry skin. It is also used in make up like foundations and primer. But it does not stay in if you wash you hands. After 1-2 washes my hands felt rough and dry again. One of the best things about this lotion is that is fragrance free and good for sensitive wearers with allergies.

This is the first hand cream that has helped my hands stay split-free during winter. I like that this moisturizing cream is not tested on animals, and also that it is not scented. Sometimes unscented products have a bit of an odor, but this does not.
