My favorite body wash. Dove Charcoal and clay cleans well, and the smell is perfect. A little earthy, but very understated, not overpoweringly strong, sweet, or fruity like a lot of body washes.

This is my go-to body wash but I noticed this one was a bit different than the ones I get at the store. It’s a darker color liquid and a different fragrance, almost like fruit punch, and the scrubby silica pieces are gone. When I examined the label more closely I realized this package was for the product in England - which explains the lack of the silica bits. Seems to have much more charcoal than the US version so both of those are a good thing. You may recall that those silica bits don’t disentegrate and once they get into the ocean they get into our food chain which is having some detrimental effect on wildlife and surely us as well. I’m just not big on the fragrance but other than that this is probably the better product to use than its US counterpart.

Weird, runny, and doesn’t appear to have the bits of charcoal mixed in. I bought this many times in local stores, and it is a thick gel that smells different and has dark bits of charcoal in it. Because I had bought this many times, I didn’t look at the reviews. I should have. Many reviewers appear to have the same weird product I received. I have no idea what’s going on, but Amazon really needs to investigate. Definitely will not buy this on Amazon ever again, and I don’t think anyone else should either.

Dove Men always has a great smell and decent skin treatment abilities.

Seriously, stay away from this product!!! If you’re used to buying it in store, stick to that!!! Don’t look for a more proficient way by getting it on here. Took me a while to pin point why my skin started getting damaged, but I finally narrowed it down to this fake product.
