> 3 dayClearly the soap ingredients have changed in the past year. It has a different aroma than before and smells, for lack of a better word, cheaper. I strongly disapprove of companies which silently opt to use cheaper ingredients to buff up sales margins. Id much rather pay slightly more and get what Im expecting. I would rate 1/5 but credit where its due, at least Im cleaner after use.

> 3 dayBeen using this soap for close to 50 years. Dr Bronner’s Peppermint soap is invigorating, gentle on the skin & a little goes a long way. Trader Joe’s recently stopped carrying it. Amazon to the rescue!

> 3 daySo I am torn on this product because does it work to clean you YES is the scent pleasant as long as you like peppermint YES. However, buyer beware if you put it in a “sensitive” areas it’s going to burn (and not necessarily in a good way) because it’s very strong peppermint base. Another downside is it will dry your skin so if you already have areas of dry skin you might want to avoid those. But this is why I’m torn, it cleans very well leaves no trace behind of dirt, oil or anything you want to cleanse off your skin but with that comes dryness. And the scent is pleasant but along with that comes burning only if it comes in contact with your “personal” areas, just saying ;). But I do like it like once a week instead of daily to give my skin a really good deep clean.

> 3 dayI think the smell of this is very straunch. It feels good on the body. Easily cleans off goat feces. Yes my goats have projectile poop. Jerry likes to buck around in the yard. Seems to know exactly how high and far it will travel. I swear he aims. It happens about once a week. Some days are better than others. So happy to have Jerry in my life.

> 3 dayIve been using Dr Bronners HEMP Peppermint soap for years. I accidentally bought a bottle of the Dr Bronners SUGAR Peppermint soap several months back. I have to say, that I really like the way that it treats my hair. It is about x2 as much price-wise, but for a shampoo, Im okay with that. The Hemp version is more astringent. I still use it for the rest of my body, but I can really feel the difference when using the sugar soap on my hair. Ill keep buying the Hemp version for my general body cleaning, but I think Ill be using the Sugar version for my shampoo from here on Dr Bronners has been great for decades and I hope it stays that way. The price is going up, but so are many prices. I think its worth the cost. The Dr Bronner products dont always seem to be available, and that seems odd as there appears to be a manufacturers site on Amazon.

> 3 dayI love this peppermint castelle soup. I use it to clean so many things. I put coconut oil in it and use it for shampoo and body wash. I mix it with water and alcohol to clean surfaces and I wash my delicate fabrics with it as well. It is a great product.

Greater than one weekUsing this liquid soap is extremely satisfying. It suds up very well, and rinses easily without leaving any residue. This is perfect for my sensitive skin. It has the absolute best smell....reminds me of Jergens hand lotion that we had when I was a child (which they dont make anymore). Gets everything quickly clean - whether an oil based hair product, dirt, whatever. I love this soap
