Received on time. Everything was intact. Box is nice and the taps look good. Taps work just as they should

Just got the package. The taps seem nice but the box was broken when I opened it which was disappointing.

I need to cut threads a bit farther in 3/4 cast iron pipe clamps (Pony brand). Wore down on first use. These dies are constructed of carbon steel and it turns out I should be using High Speed Steel dies. I am returning.

Works good for soft metals for making new threads

THE CASE IS CHEAP, BUT IT GOS IN THE TOOLBOX DRAWER JUST FINE.

All of the taps arrived but the box to keep them in is broken, and one was loose in the overpack. Pretty bad experience upon opening this. Thankfully the parts are all there.

Most tap kits are only for machine bolts, course or fine thread. This kit is pipe thread and includes the most common industrial NPT fittings. I mostly work in steel, stainless steel and brass and these are Ideal for repairing threads. I would be careful trying to cut new threads but I would assume that the kit is plenty hard enough.
