I dont know why the box was smashed seemed of good quality Im thinking the shippers mishandled it

I only needed a 1 inch tap for a plumbing repair but the price for this whole set was similar to just a single one inch tap at a local big box store. I used it to clean out corroded threads in a galvanized in-ground fitting so I could replace a broken section of water line. It did the trick, is still sharp, and saved me from a bunch more digging. Thanks!

THE CASE IS CHEAP, BUT IT GOS IN THE TOOLBOX DRAWER JUST FINE.

The storage box the taps come in is pretty much junk. The partitions are not made to hold the taps so any time the box is moved, all the taps scatter inside. The latches are not much stronger than tin foil. By the time I received the taps, the box was useless.

Most tap kits are only for machine bolts, course or fine thread. This kit is pipe thread and includes the most common industrial NPT fittings. I mostly work in steel, stainless steel and brass and these are Ideal for repairing threads. I would be careful trying to cut new threads but I would assume that the kit is plenty hard enough.

These work great and come in a nice wood box for storage

Actual product (Taps/Tools) work well. Too bad the wooden storage box was shipped in a cheap USPS bag! Storage box was in about 8 pieces after USPS got done playing football with it! Should have been in a box!
