I was looking for a case just like this and ordered it and when it arrived I was disappointed that the color is more orange than red. It is sort of red, just on the orange side and I was looking for a red more on the maroon/burgundy side, which is what the photo shows. I returned it with no hassle and returned back to Amazon to find something that would be closer to the color I was looking for. then saw the photo for the SAME product (but did not realize it was the same product), was AGAIN convinced it was just the right color...and of course when it arrived it was the same orange-red, same product. Duh! That photo SURE DID look good! So grateful for the generous return policy, but I do think it goes to show that the color online---just right---truly was not representative of the product, most unfortunately.
