> 24 hourPlayed three player version of the game and loved it. Bought the next day since it claims to support 2 players and we are a couple. Game arrived today. physical cards for two or solo play were included but also installed app on Pixel 5a running Android 12. Inadequate instructions for 2 player game. Tried to play anyway. App hung. Only way to clear app was to restart phone. 3 player. Moderately difficult to learn from video. Video had no instructions for two player game. Better to just play a game or two with 3 Not a good gift. Can see it being too overwhelming and have it sit on shelf. We play many games. This is similar to Lords of Water deep or Agricola. Great game, lots going on with 3-4 players.

> 24 hourThis is a very thematic strategy game. If you are totally new into modern strategy board games, Id suggest you go to YouTube and watch a how to play video prior to getting this to the table. If you are a modern boardgamer the rules are well written and have familiar deck building a worker placement mechanics. I highly recommend this to fans of deck building and worker placement, but would like to specify this is really best with 3 or 4 players. There is an AI deck that you can use with lesser player counts, but the game shines at 4 or 4.

> 24 hourThis is a worker placement/engine building/deck building game that incorporates the story and themes from Frank Herberts Dune novel. It plays well, has a lot of variety of play, and is pretty captivating. We played once through to learn the rules. Then played through 2 more times after looking up some questions we had that werent quite clear in the rule book. It is a 3-4 player game with rules for solo and 2 player that include card generated rivals to bring to 3 player. We are 2 players and found that the 3rd card generated rival added the right amount of tension and strategic resistance to make the game very interesting. As with most games, the rule book could use an index and a bit better organization, but it is reasonably complete with only a one page errata available online. If I was rating this game on boardgamegeek.com, I would give it an 8. There is plenty of room for expansions and I hope the expansions include more deck cards, combat cards, and leader cards.

> 24 hourThe fun and complication of play, along with the detail and thought that went into the different actions that certain cards allow to happen as realted to their Dune Lore (specific to each character or item) more than makes up for THE HORRENDOUS ATROCITY that is the rulebook. Whoever wrote that price of **** needs to be fired. Do yourself and the game a favor and just watch the Watch It Played video to learn how to setup and play the game. Sure the rulebook comes in handy for a reference for further questions once you get deep into a round, but even some eventualities have to be intuited and agreed upon by the players. This is especially true when playing with two players (the House Hagal rules for the fake player 3 doesnt cover everything). Still, one of the best worker games Ive played!!!
