There are no black sheets in the Mylar pages. It’s just a so-so folder, not the best design.

I use these for artwork, but they could easily be used for recipes or documents. It keeps everything clean, organized, and neat. I have several in different sizes. Love them--very handy!

The cover could be a little sturdier, but for the price it is a good buy. My Grandson will now save his drawings in one place.

This portfolio holds artwork, and the pages dont slip out. However, the cover is why I could not give it more stars. When it comes to artwork and storage, the cover on this is too flexible to provide good protection for the artwork. I had to put too much thought into where we could store this so that the artwork did not get bent. I much per portfolios that have a hard, non-flexible cover so that the contents do not get bent.

You get what you pay for. Next time I will pay more for the better quality. The cover is thin plastic. The pages are super thin with no reinforcement. I do not see this lasting long.

This art and photo presentation book is a nice size. Even though it is a 9 x 12 which is fairly large, it is thin and light weight. I am using it specifically for my children’s artwork. Instead of trying to preserve loose papers, I thought a designated book would be better. The outside on the front and back cover are rigid enough to protect the inside from damage but are bendable and soft to flip open. The pages inside that hold the art work are thick. They are a fairly clear pocket. The book has no capability of adding any extra pages so the included pages are all that will fit in the book. The edge or binding of the book measures a half an inch. I also like that around the front and back cover there is a woven border. It’s larger than the pages inside so the clear pockets are protected and cannot get bent or torn from the sides when closed.

Happily stored my stencils so they’re all in one place. Great for smaller artwork as well. Plus I bought it in the regular and the larger size 4 my 9 x 12 and 11 x 14 art pieces. I recommend it.

This is a generic, non-descript folder. The cover is textured with a gro-grain ribbon look binding. The top-loading pockets are much flimsier than Im used to but maybe they are stronger than they look. The pockets are a good size for smaller sketchbook pages.
