use this before clearcoat its good, not after, its too rough any paper over 1000 is a little too rough for clearcoat sanding. this sandpaper is ideal for using before clearcoat,

Great sandpaper, long lasting and a great price. I personally cut these 6” circles to fit a ryobi corner cat and black & decker mouse sander.

I would give negative stars if I could. This stuff is absolutely useless if it gets the slightest bit damp (it falls apart). The sand bonded to the paper dulls immediately and clogs. I have been doing this for a long time and this is the worst quality da paper Ive ever used. I bought a second box just to make sure it wasnt a bad production run and it was just as bad as the first. Do not buy this garbage, spend the extra couple of bucks on higher quality.

Its a good paper should be shipped with a moister trap to keep the paper moister free for future use. Bill

I bought these to quickly level an uneven white oak tabletop without a messy belt sander. Well, they did the job but left behind a surface that looked like a beaver had assaulted it. Ive never seen sandpaper cause tear our before, even ultra coarse grit, but these did. Took a lot of 60 and 80 grit sanding to restore the surface. Would not recommend if your goal is to eventually have a smooth surface.
