Easy to install and fit properly.

Pros: It works, and was available to ship very fast (out of stock at Dyson). Cons: The red ring is a slightly different material and not as pliable as the original. I havent noticed any significant performance difference between them in the first couple weeks of using it, but its enough stiffer I wont be surprised if I see one down the road. Its inexpensive, and I could get it - so I dont regret the purchase. Overall, recommended - but know its not a factory identical part.

If there’s any hesitation of purchasing this part for your Dyson v11 Animal, let me put it to rest. I was just as hesitant to buy this non original equipment part. But I got it promptly and installed it and it fit perfectly and works just fine. All this for a less expensive alternative than purchasing an original equipment from Dyson themselves. On top of that, the part was available; you didn’t have to wait weeks for Dyson to send 1 out.

My original broke while cleaning. Glad I checked Amazon and saw replacements as I was resolved that I needed to buy a new vacuum. The video helped me figure out how to replace the old part and install the new part. Took less than 5 mins. Vacuum working again, thanks.

Its so frustrating that Dyson has a product that fails like this but its nice to see the aftermarket provide a fix. They even supplied a screwdriver with the proper star shaped head on it. Was able to install in a just a minute and while I only tested it once it seems to work as good as the original seal.

it does seem to work, its not quite same size nor material as original . less flex. will see how it lasts. it was nice of them to include the special screwdriver.

This gasket replaced the original one that broke on my Dyson. It was very easy to replace using the screwdriver that came in the box and a flathead screwdriver. After replacing, my vacuum works great!

Just what i needed
