DxO Labs OpticsPro 11 Essential Edition Photo Enhancing Software, DVD

I just started using this program and it seems good. However registering the proper activation code can be tricky. After initially registering on the registration site, it asks you to upgrade to the newest version. If you enter the original code after upgrading it wont work. After doing the upgrade pay attention to the next screen--they give you a NEW activation code, and also send it in an email. Then the new code worked!

Can’t load

DxO customer support is uniquely incompetent and they have a short product lifecycle that will have have them insisting you buy an upgrade should you need to transfer your license to another PC. Although I am not a subscription fan, Adobe’s Photography Suite is a superior option and its people bend over backwards to ensure you are satisfied. Ultimately, $10/month is much more competitive than DxO’s fixed cost combined with its grief factor. Plus, Adobe keeps its software updated and the plugins to be had are amazing. If you go the DxO route, you will wish you had just gone Adobe and not looked back. I’ve just uninstalled DxO from my machines — oh, and that’s a pain, too. The uninstall is inelegant and will have you using tailored uninstall helpers to ensure their ****ware is fully removed.

Crap as it is not valid it is according to the manafacturer fraudulent.

Wasted money unable to use. Software does not work on windows 10.

DxO will not honor the serial number. The software is useless. You will be forced to buy theirs which is over a hundred dollars.

New software, outdated version. Bought cheap to upgrade for the promo price. DxO has great customer service and the new Photolab 4 is outstanding.

I needed an older version of DxO to run on my 2011 iMac and had no problems authorizing the software with the included code. An unexpected bonus was a free upgrade offer by DxO to PhotoLab 4 which runs fine on my newer MacBook.

It doesnt work on Windows 10 (they finally admitted) and I didnt even get an activation code so it was completely worthless. Would give zero stars if possible.
