Good taste, but the diffusion in the water is not great.

It tastes just like Fruity Pebbles which is surprising. It has a great amount of protein for one serving size. I have tried many bad-tasting protein shakes, so to finally have this is great. The only issue would be the price. However, with the price of it and the 72 servings in one container it even out to almost a dollar per serving.

Great taste although value for the money leaves something to be desired. I cant speak to the quality of ingredients but taking the label at face value it would seem to be in line with similar products

Remembering the old days of muscletech plus many other horrible chalky and sour tasting protein powders, fruity pebbles and cocoa pebbles flavors by far, hands down, win any taste contest in my book. From the 25g of protein, to a 110 calories per scoop, it is amazing and overall a great protein. If muscle milk still made banana cream pie and birthday cake, before they went mainstream at every gas station truck stop sams club, then Id tell you to get them. Quest doesnt even compare to this one, and I like Quest. Tastes so good I thought I was eating the actual cereal in a blended form regardless of fruit or chocolate. Fruit loops should be the next flavor, or corn pops honeycomb something, Id get behind those. A+ for me across the board.

NEW 5 STAR REVIEW (FRUITY PEBBLES FLAVOR): Despite my original experience with ISO 100, I saw the Fruity Pebbles flavor and the actual endorsement from Post, and just had to try it. A lot of folks think taste shouldn’t matter when it comes to protein powders (I once did too), but now that there ARE actually quality proteins that are also good-tasting (like this one!), there’s no reason to settle for one you have to choke down... This one is an actual treat! It took a couple tries to get the ingredients and ratio down, but when I did, I was shocked at how reminiscent of the cereal it actually is. I first tried it with Silk cashew/almond/pea protein “milk,” and that was ok but not much to talk about. But when I tried it with water, WOW! It may be partially because I’ve always preferred skim milk, but the flavor was a total blast from the past. I took it a step further by adding a splash of my go-to sweetener (Torani Pure sugar free vanilla syrup) and now it’s hard to stop at one serving!! I’ll definitely be giving other flavors a try now. So glad I gave this a second chance!! Apart from flavor and a strong nutritional profile, there’s no weird aftertaste and no stomach upset. Truly a wonderful supplement. ORIGINAL 3 STAR REVIEW (CAKE FLAVOR): I tried the bday cake flavor of this and it is absolutely terrible tasting! But, that being said, I don’t buy supplements expecting them to taste like a dessert—I know they are likely to be rough, but this flavor was REALLY rough to drink on it’s own; HOWEVER, when mixed with liquid chai tea mix (the kind you get prepare in a carton at the grocery store), it actually tastes pretty good. The issue there is that you have to add a very sugary substance to the product to make it tolerable. Despite the taste, the ingredients are quality and the protein/fat ratio is really good (thus the 3 stars) so there’s no doubt it’s a strong supplement, but if you dread drinking it, that can only take you so far.

Great protein powder, but youll need a shaker to break up the powder. I have used hydrolyzed whey protein powder before that melted away in any liquid and didnt require a shaker, but this is not one of those powders. But it tastes great mixed with water, milk, almondmilk, cashew milk, and even in coffee (mocha anyone?). It is a very sweet chocolate flavor. If youre not crazy about super sweet, skip this one. If you have a sweet tooth and love the taste of ooey-gooey fudge brownies right out of the oven, this one is for you. I personally think its a great chocolate flavor. And I like that it has a nice, substantial consistency without being too gelatinous. The last protein powder I used had no thickeners whatsoever, and if you mixed it with water, you got flavored water. This mixed with water still has a nice shake-like consistency that you would hope for and expect. Not too thick, not too thin. As for muscle building and performance, I wish I could be more scientific and say that I had a controlled study that included keeping my fitness routine the same when I switched from the other brand to the Dymatize ISO-100. But I dont. I have been using hydrolyzed whey protein powder for two months now and just started using the Dymatize for this past month. I have definitely noticed a difference in gains in lean muscle mass, muscle recovery, and fast-twitch muscle improvement. I cant say definitively or not as to whether that came from changing my fitness routine (I started P90X3 3 weeks ago), adding the protein powder, which protein powder it was (if either) that affected my gains, or if I would have made the same gains without the protein powder. There are too many variables to say that this particular hydrolyzed whey protein vs the other brand was what made the difference all said and done. However, I have noticed a clear benefit in energy, muscle recovery speed, and muscle gains since adding hydrolyzed whey protein powder two months ago, so Ive chosen to stick with it. I really like the Dymatize ISO-100 in comparison with the other 3 brands Ive sampled (one of which I used for a whole month prior to trying the ISO-100). Im a big fan and just bought pina coloada flavor, too. I highly recommend this product. Just make sure to have that shaker.

This is definitely an expensive protein powder, but the Fruity Pebbles flavor tastes great and is probably the best-tasting protein shake Ive ever tried. Its really easy to mix in just plain water in a shaker bottle and is enjoyable to drink plain. There is a tiny bit of an aftertaste after it goes down, but this is leagues above any other protein powder Ive tried, and Ive tried a lot.
