Dynarex Alcohol Prep Pad Sterile, Medium, 200 count

These alcohol wipes are so convenient and easy to use when I give myself or my husband a shot. We use them at home and they are so convenient when we travel. So much better than lugging around an entire bottle of alcohol and a bag of cotton balls!

I go through a lot of alcohol pads every month due to having to take 6 insulin shots a day and 2 blood thinner shots a day. Not to mention all the finger sticks every day for glucose testing. I was buying a name brand but found them to be too expensive and started using store brand pads. I got frustrated when I would open some of the pads up and they would be dry! Im not paying for dry pads, I am paying for alcohol pads! I ordered these and so far every one I have opened has been wet. The thickness of the pad is great, not too thin and not too thick. Im happy with these pads and will continue to order them every month.

Good product, but don’t order it from Amazon because they’ll ship this in a plastic bag and it will arrive crushed. Who cares it’s just alcohol pads right? Make sure you order a container for loose packets if you insist on ordering it here…

I like them for my diabetic finger sticks. They are handy and a good value.

Hola: I originally purchased to wipe down my vial and skin, prior to injecting medicine. Then, Covid-19 struck and found out the easy to open, individual package is great for wiping down car and household keys and door knobs. Portable in an injection kit, pocket, etc. Ill purchase again! I find these Dynarex sterile alcohol prep pads to be just perfect for my needs. I use them to clean my ear buds and other such items. They are saturated with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol. I have used other pads that were too thin and the alcohol would drip off as I used them. These pads are the perfect thickness and the alcohol is very effective and remains saturated for a while without being too watery. As I said they are great for me and the size of the pads is also perfect for me. The one issue some may have is that the pad size is not stated in the item description. They are approximately 1 x 1 when folded and 2 1/2 x 1 when unfolded. If this size is too small then these wont suit your needs. But I really think for most the size will be suitable and the product very effective. Recommended. Also its great to have such a large supply on hand and the expiration date isnt till the end of 2017.

Im using my third box of these and overall, they do the job at a great price so Ill keep ordering them. I have to give someone in my household two injections per day so I use these little alcohol prep pads to just swipe her skin before administering the shot. It keeps everything clean and sterile for less than a couple pennies per day which is all I really need. When they trained me in the hospital to give the shots, they told me to sterilize her skin and it wasnt until I got home that I realized I had no easy way to do that so thankfully Amazon came through and these shipped and were delivered extremely fast (with Prime). Im going through a box of these in 3 months and they are all fresh and useful. I havent had one dried out pad in the lot. Since I have them now, Ive also used them for smaller cleaning jobs like cell phones and my toothbrush holder. The only reason why Im not giving it 5 stars is because I would prefer if they were packaged singly instead of two pads side by side that have to be torn apart. I would also rather the alcohol pad itself not be folded over. Tearing off one packet and then unfolding the alcohol swab only takes a quick second so these are really minor points and not bothersome enough to keep me from buying more. I appreciate being able to buy these at such a great price with quick shipping. Far cheaper than my local pharmacy and they get the job done perfectly.

I think the product itself it great! I have no qualms with how well the alcohol prep pads work. My issue was the product packaging and the amount of alcohol pads that came in the box. The product packaging came damaged and where it was suppose to be a 200 hundred count, there were only 184. Not a huge deal, right? Only missing 16 prep pads. I paid for 200 and would have like to receive that many.

I’m trans, so I take a shot once a week that requires me to sterilize. I’ve always just squeezed some rubbing alcohol onto a cotton ball to get the job done. I bought these to take on a trip so I didn’t have to take the whole alcohol bottle, but now I will always use these moving forward! There are 200 so you can share with friends. They are small and light; great to throw in a stealth bag, hiking backpack, purse, car, anywhere. You never know when you’ll need a quick little sterilization.

I was building my own first aid kit and ordered these as the alcohol swabs. They are great. Very pleased. No complaints. Good for cleaning scratches, cleaning skin if you do injections at home. Affordable and they work. A+
