Dynatex 49593 silicone brake lubricant helped me complete a recent brake pads and brake shoes replacement, ensuring my brakes will operate smoothly and consistently until their next replacement. Only a thin film of this product was needed, so I expect this one tube will last me quite a few years of brake jobs on multiple vehicles.

My mechanic said No, Dont Do Your Own Brakes but I am the DIY master and I told him I am going to save money you will go hungry tonight youll see! I spread this paste all over my brake pads and it keeps them from making ANY noise. The wheels started smoking and the car doesnt stop good anymore, I have to coast it into a sand dune near my trailer and then it just kind of slides sideways a little and comes to a stop and my neighbor Bill tows me out with his Hyundai and a chain when I need to go somewhere again. But I showed my mechanic! I think the paste must be low quality, it certainly tastes like the cheap stuff. It does lube caliper slide pins really well, though, if thats your thing..

Ideally, you would use a Moly lube for Metal to Metal contact like Brackets to Guides and Guides to Pads, and then a Silicone lube for Metal to Rubber contact (like Guide Pins to Boots) however, this Silicone grease is 100% pure and can handle temperatures up to 500-deg (according to the mfgrs website) meaning you can use this grease for the entire brake job. I just replaced the brakes/rotors on all 4 wheels of my car and used this grease for the entire job (and this tube of grease costs half the price of the equivenlent Napa silicone grease so its the best buy out there that i could find). Cant go wrong here..

A large amount of pure silicone grease for cheap considering how much auto stores charge for little .25 oz packets. Have used for years on brake pins and sliders, cart axle shafts and anywhere I dont want a greasy film. Very water resistant and mess free. A little goes a long way!

cant beat the price for the amount of product you get. more than I will ever use. Been using this as a rubber seal conditioner for my cars. Buick recommends this to keep them new and pliable etc. Its cheaper than the GM version. little goes a long way. had a freezing rain/ice storm recently and the doors did not stick like they normally do before using this product. this was a nice feature and also protected the rubber. I had cars in the past where I did not use this and got freezing rain etc and when opening the door, the seal was frozen to the door and it took chunks of the rubber seal off..

I used this product as per the manufactures (Honda) recommendations. Cant find this exact product in local automotive stores (Im sure they sell similar). Im happy with the purchase!
