Greater than one weekI’m sure the vacuum would recognize the fuller of it were genuine. Unfortunately, this part did not work.

> 3 dayI ordered and paid a premium price for this filter because it is described as a genuine DYSON brand filter. While it looks similar, it is clearly labeled as a part COMPARABLE to the genuine DYSON filter. Unfortunately this is not the product it claims to be and could possibly void your Dyson warranty if used in their machine.

Greater than one weekMy dyson was vibrating and not holding a charge. Someone told me the filter was probably dirty and needed replaced. So I replaced with this filter and it works like new. So glad I listened.

> 3 dayI bought this part thinking its a genuine Dyson filter. It is not. I received a LifeSupplyUSA filter that costs 10$ while genuine Dyson filter is 30$. AVOID!

> 3 dayThey claim this is made by Dyson. Im not sure as mine has a really tight fit. The filter material seams thinner and it doesnt have the picture of the water faucet showing it being cleaned on the inside like my original has. It does work.

> 3 dayMy house is home to dogs and cats and kids and elderly. As such, I vacuum (love, love, love my Dysart!) frequently. Once the filter needs to be washed, it takes 24 hours for it to dry before it can be reinserted into the vacuum. With a back-up filter, I can vacuum even if the original filter is still damp from being cleaned.
