Great filter but expensive.

I originally purchased a cheaper knockoff of this filter because there were so many of them and they were 1/3 of the price of the Dyson brand filter. The knockoff did not fit securely and would not allow the base to snap into place. I returned the knockoff and purchased the OEM version and it fits as it should--like a glove. Its definitely more expensive, but for a filter that you replace every year, I guess its worth it. My old filter was disgustingly dirty, so definitely dont skip on the yearly maintenance and get the factory-approved version so that you know it works!

These come in dyson packaging but it’s all knockoff. The cardboard is different and the colors are slightly off. The filter itself is about 1/2 as thick as a real dyson filter, the overall dimensions are just a little off, it isn’t sturdy and it won’t snap in. Stay away

This filter stopped working after 2 months. Waste of money. They usually last up to a year.
