Dyson Quick-Release Motorhead Cleaner for Dyson V8 Vacuums

This is not original Dyson part but it fits great Dyson 8 vacuum cleaner. However I noticed that vacuum now loses power faster. Probably, brush is not so smooth like the original one was

Bought the V8 Fluffy and realized immediately it wouldnt work well on carpet/rugs. Had to call Dyson to verify this model would work with the Fluffy, the model numbers were not a perfect match but I took a chance and bought this motorhead. Now the Fluffy is perfect for carpets/rugs and hardwoods. Total cost for the V8 Fluffy plus this carpet motorhead was $500, which was definitely more than I wanted to spend, but now I have the total solution.

We like our dyson a lot. This replaces the power head that we wore out. Works just like it did when it was new.

Suction is great and it worked well on my cordless dyson. Just really sucks to pay so much for this attachment.

The one that came with the vacuum eventually broke, probably from some mis-use (vacuuming entry pads, etc), so I needed a replacement. The original worked extremely well until I broke it, now this one works extremely well. I put a low rating on cleaning up hair cause hair gets caught in the roller and is a pain to get out. I have a separate pet hair attachment that I use for hair

We are very pleased with the new Shark vacuum head. I love this machine and didnt want to have to replace it. We got eight years out of the old head and the vaccum still works great.

So nice to be able to purchase just the worn out piece. Fit and works perfectly.

Works as intended, suitable replacement, not sure if it is genuine Dyson part but works as of it was
