My husband bought this as a Christmas present. Best vacuum I’ve owned. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats and this vacuum stands up to all the fur.

This is my 2nd Dyson. Last was a V11. This is a very nice upgrade.

The best vacuum ever! I actually enjoy using it. Worth every penny!

It is a little heavy if using it for more than 15 or 20 minutes. Your finger will go numb pressing the button, but there is an easy solution on Amazon that will hold the button down for you. I found I am emptying it a couple times while vacuuming, but its not been an issue at all. If you hate vacuuming and cleaning, then this vacuum is for you! I have a pretty good corded vacuum but this is much better and because of the suction power I can clean my 2200 sq ft house in 30 - 45 minutes or less since it only require a couple passes to eat up all the dirt, dust, and dog hair. If you are at all worried about the run time, you can just buy an extra battery and problem solved

Great Dyson product, great Amazon service. However the merchant who shipped the product for Amazon has poor regard for its customers and the product they handle. It arrived in a dangerously crappy outside box with just a few pieces of tape that did not even begin to hold the outside box shut. How they could ever let this leave their warehouse looking like this and probably already falling apart speaks volumes about how little they care. Disappointing!

I am over-the-moon happy with my new Dyson cordless stick vac. Gone are the days of lugging my old Miele canister around from room to room, plugging and unplugging, etc. The Dyson is powerful, lightweight and easy to maneuver. And, no more pricey vacuum bags to purchase. Well done, Dyson!

My first Dyson as Ive always had whole house vacuum systems in my house. Our new house has mostly wood floors and no such vac...so I really needed a stand alone unit. Id not tried a Dyson before so for the money...this was a gamble in my mind. Im really pleased after having this now for over a month. I thought the laser was gimmicky at first but let me tell you, its a game changer. It totally lights up any dust/dirt on the ground and after running the vac over it...its really clean... It is very quiet and yes, its a smaller container for what it picks up but really not an issue...so easy to dump. Have had no issues vacuuming a 2400 sq foot house in one shot. Its so light and easy to maneuver to just grab and touch up an area is easy as can be. Lots of suction power and in fact, on throw rug, had to turn it down on the carpet head to prevent the rug from moving all around. Overall...very impressed and Im a huge fan. Totally worth it.

This vacuum is amazing. Buy it and you won’t be sorry. The carpet looked clean and I couldn’t believe what it picked up, after vacuuming with my older electric Dyson vacuum. The laser illuminates the small particles on hard floors so you get it all, the carpet vacuum is AMAZING and cleans deep, the head doesn’t her jammed with hair or fiber. Battery life is good. Buy it!!

I cant understand positive reviews for such an expensive vacuum that falls so short. 2800 square foot house, maybe 65-70% carpeting and various throw rugs. This vacuum cant get the job done on one battery. So, I have to wait hours for the battery to recharge. To be fair, it has an Eco setting that might allow me to do the whole house. I never tried it because the suction on Eco is terrible!!! Might as well use a tiny dustbuster. If I am paying $700, I am paying that for the power to get ground in dirt and dust up on the first or second pass. If I wanted bare minimum suction, there are plenty of handheld vacuums available for $100 that offer that. Unless your house is 100% wood and/or tile floors, the Eco setting is useless. On top of the one battery issue, this thing is heavy and uncomfortable. The trigger has to be held down constantly and this weighs considerably more than my old Dyson handheld. When using its top setting, no question this model gets up the dirt. Its very effective. But, its only able to do a room or two with carpet and then the loooong recharge has to begin again. For this kind of money, I need a vacuum that can get the job done. Other Dyson handhelds had two batteries in the past, so its not like Dyson is not aware of the difference that having two batteries can make. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere or buy an older Dyson that comes with two batteries. Buying an additional battery to make this model genuinely useful will up the price to around $900-$950 and its simply not worth it. Really disappointed in this model. Its going back for a refund.

I’ve purchased a lot of vacuums over time and many in my quest to not pay $700 for a Dyson. But in the end I’ve wasted more than had I just bought the Dyson in the first place. It’s lightweight. It’s easy to maneuver in the laser light is amazing to show you where the dust and dirt is. I love this vacuum so much that I’m about to buy a second one for our 2nd home.
