Greater than one weekrefurbished DC41. Typical spherical wheel (far side of filter) shaft broken off. 5 min internet search. 45 min to replace the part. Youll need star shape drivers. anyway, IT FITS.

> 3 day...but set aside a lot of time. No instructions come with the part and you will have to search HARD on YouTube for multiple videos but you can do it. Just make sure the white plastic ratcheting cog that makes the vacuum stand upright or tilt is positioned the same as when you took it apart. That was the hardest part for us.

Our Dyson is back to functioning as it should and the whole process was a good opportunity to give it a good enteral cleaning.
