E-repair WiFi Signal Antenna Flex Cable Ribbon Replacement for iPhone 6 (4.7)

My sons iPhone 6 had multiple problems with the home button, GPS and WiFi connection. After some research, we found out all relevant parts are available on Amazon.com. We ordered the parts, along with a set of tool kit. I have replaced an iPhone 4 display screen digitizer a few years back, so I was confident I could handle this repair work. With assistance from online video tutorial, the project of replacing 3 items took a total of 30 minutes. The phone is working properly again, and my son is very happy!! Here are all the components and tool kit for this project:

Recieved on time, was able to install, worked as expected. I bought two because I thought I would need one for both my phone and my son’s. Didn’t end up needing one of them and didn’t realize this doesn’t have free returns. It would have cost more to send it back than it cost me to begin with. There was no information in the description regarding returns so I didn’t readily notice, so just be aware if you think you might want to return this item if you don’t end up needing it.

This fixed my GPS problem. Just be aware that this is major iPhone surgery and the components are extremely small. A magnifying glass or loop would be useful unless you have hawk eyes.

Used ifixit.com, purchased this part and bam my phone was doing what it was suppose to do. Great product so far, lasted over 6 months and counting.

The plug on the ribbon was broken upon delivery.

My childs phone stopped seeing SSIDs and all research pointed to the WiFi antenna. Figured it was worth a shot to order this antenna before paying someone else to do it. Installed the new antenna and all functionality was restored! Probably saved myself $100 or so.
