EBOOT 8 Pieces Tire Stem Valve Caps Wheel Valve Covers Car Dustproof Tire Cap, Hexagon Shape (Orange)

This product, I’m assuming due to the cheap materials it’s made out of, corroded and seized onto two of my trucks valve stems. They could not be broken loose and ruined the valve stem cause a few hundred dollars in repairs

I dont often leave reviews unless a product is very bad or very good. This product is very bad. One would think that tire valve covers would be difficult to mess up. I purchased these about a year ago and have only aired up my tires when I got an oil change or noticed they were low. The other day, with the cold weather, I noticed the tires were low. I went to add air to the tires but found I could not remove the caps. I thought it odd so I checked all the tires. They were all the same, impossible to turn. I tried pliers but did not have luck. I tried heating up, no luck. I took the vehicle to the dealership as I was coming due for an oil change anyway and asked them to take a look. They called me and reported they were going to have to cut the valve stems out of the tires and replace and that the caps were rusted in place. Apparently they put an impact on them and could not break them lose. Apparently they have seen this in the past. Long story short, these caps cost me $160 ($40/tire)... I would not recommend these. I assume this is an issue that could plagued all metal caps but these are the ones that cost me $160 so these are the ones that are getting my bad review. Also, the black paint on these only lasted a few months. Out of all the problems, that is pretty small, but an issue nonetheless. Unless your goal is to forever seal the air in your tires and waste money when you realize the problem you have created, I would not recommend these.

They’re a bit long so they stick out from my wheels just a tad, but they seem like a hard plastic so they may be able to be cut with a power tool if it bothers you. Over all, I like them.

These valve stems caps are a joke their neatly packaged came with O-Rings unbelievable looked very good Till after a year and they corroded to my valve stem I do live in the US rust belt but i had another pair on my truck that never has corroded

yes they are great tire stems caps they fit perfect

these are the perfect color for the color of the car i have. used a q tip to oil the inside threads of the caps before putting them on so they wouldnt freeze lock onto the stem.
