For over 2 years, the original hood struts on our 2005 Nissan Murano would no longer hold the hood up and our mechanic has recommended replacing them; but as theyre the only ones who work under the hood we were not motivated to make that investment. But then, I stumbled upon these on Amazon, and decided to give them a try. So when the package arrived and there were 2 different sized boxes in the bag, I was confused - only to quickly discover that this purchase included new shock-struts for both the hood AND the liftgate - really? Wow! So after watching a brief YouTube video on how to, I replaced the hood devices. Then, as while our liftgate supports still worked, they were weak, so replaced them, and WOW what a difference! So as my original intent was only replacing the hood supports, this kit - which I felt was a very good value for only the hood struts, was (is) actually very complete with the liftgate supports, and as such provides an unexpected and great overall value. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you!

Took less than half an hour to install 4 on a 2007 Murano, both front and back. Rear tailgate was the real issue, now it is easy to lift.

My wife’s Nissan Murano tail gate went bad and it fell in my 11 yr old son head one day , then I knew I had to order these . They arrived on time and was very easy to installed ,very sturdy and holding up well .

My rear hatch was HEAVY. And now its not. These struts did the job.
