> 3 dayI had heard this type to tv wall mount would be easy to install and sturdy to mount a TV so I thought I would give it a try. I received it in a couple of days and read the directions. There was a caution that when nailing in the wall if you hit metal, contact Echogear for support. I was concerned because I have metal wall studs and according to my stud finder, I would be hitting two of these. I proceeded with my install. All nails went in flawlessly. Honestly, after you put the first two nails in to ensure level, the rest are a breeze. I did confirm with another level because the one included might be off at times because the level can move. Now I only needed to support an 18 pound TV so I was not worried about it holding, but I can tell that it would support quite a bit more weight. Go for it. You wont be disappointed!

> 3 dayThis is one of the best products Ive ever come across in any category. I was able to mount a 55 TV perfectly level, five feet off the floor in plain drywall (not a stud to be found), all on my own in about twenty minutes. Crazy easy! Crazy fast! And it feels SOLID. I dont know how much my TV weighs but I can just sense intuitively this mount can handle a lot more. My one ProTip for you is this... Plug all of your cables into the back of the television BEFORE you lift to hang it on the mount. This is a very slim mount, your TV is going to be right up against the wall, too little space to get a hand into let alone an arm. I had to hang mine twice because I made your mistake for you. Youre welcome. :)

> 3 dayThis was so easy to install. We have no studs in the wall where we needed to mount a 55” TV. We tried so many things and nothing was working. We ordered this mount and we’re all set. It’s hanging there now, looks great, and I have all the confidence that it will stay up there.

Greater than one weekWhat can I say? I’m an old lady and was able to easily install the wall mount without any difficulty. It took me longer than 15 minutes only because I read the instructions and measured the wall placement several times. I was also able to lift the tv onto the mount by myself, which was the hardest part, and to securely lock it in place. I should have followed the advice of several others to plug in all the connections before hanging, though. But, as you can see by the picture, the mount is crooked, off by one inch. This despite using the mount’s level AND my own level. Any suggestions besides starting over? In the meantime, I’ll hang a painting at an angle above the tv to counter the crooked effect.

Greater than one weekI wanted to mount my 43’’ tv in my rented studio without causing too much damage or complexity. I soon realized that most TV wall mounts require studs, drilling etc.... I went looking for this item with skepticism that it even existed (a mount that could mount a TV of this size + easy installation + drywall only mount)...after searching the web for such an item I settled on this mount, and I am very glad I did! Its had no trouble holding up my 43’’, ~16 lb TV - and the built in level is great for hanging it straight...Installation was painless - 32 picture nails into an iron, sturdy frame that (in my case) was hammered into drywall. This took a bit of hammering but no time at all and the nails (included) were less prone to bend than your average picture nails. Echogear does provide other screws in case you want to drill into the foundation but there are other mounts you could get instead of this one if that’s what you want to do. One thing to note is that TV weights (like mine) have drastically dropped in recent years - making this item more viable. The description says it can support a TV of up to 70lbs...I believe that and my TV approaches no where close to that (~15 lbs). In short, this item was a hard find and a steal - I would recommend it to others looking for something similar without hesitation. Thank you Echogear for making this item - and for making installation so simple!

> 3 dayThe reason I left off a star is they need to include more screw lengths and spacer sizes. The screw lengths are very important as that goes into the back of the TV - we spent a lot of time debating if we could use the included 35mm screws because our TV says you should use 43mm. And the next size up that was provided was 50mm which didnt fit. Also they only give you really small spacers and really big ones - would have liked to have some in the middle.
