Greater than one weekI have not yet hooked this up but the concept is great and i am sure it will work well. im guessing the best test would be if i never experience a power surge. I do like the longer cord as the one i have currently is too short for where i use it.

> 3 dayThe first problem I had with this is the extreme out-gassing of what are likely toxic odors from both the cord and the outlet body. I had to put it outside to out-gas for at least a day. I do not usually bring such poisons into my home. I have now plugged it in and I hope that the VOC emissions subside significantly later.

Hooked on AMZN!
> 3 dayReplaced two other surge protectors, each with 6 receptacles but together they could only handle the 7 plugs that I had. Needless to say, some of mine were very bulky, but this one Echogear handled everything *very* easily, and I have an extra receptacle available. I guess Ill have to invest in another lamp or something! Happy, Happy New Year!

> 3 dayIn the process of ordering replacements for 3 different surge protectors I chose this one for HD TV and all the additional devices plugged into that outlet. I felt most comfortable with the 2160 joules of surge protection that it offered as well as the 8 outlets.

> 3 dayLove the adjustable plugs; now they are all useful compared to the usual power strips The holes for hanging could be better; and a little deeper Also the flat wall plug is a must; eliminated the typical 6 from the wall waste
