The ability to tilt up/down, side/side, and extend from the wall a few inches made hanging the TV, perfecting the alignment, and connecting/managing cables much easier. The only drawback is that despite including a multitude of mounting hardware options it does not include toggle bolts for mounting into metal studs. They mention this in the detailed description but I missed it. Nonetheless, a trip to the hardware store fixed that problem and Im super happy with the product.

What a great mount! Very rugged compared to my old plasma mount. Well designed and engineered. Good instructions and plenty of screw selections for any tv. Would use Echogear (my second one) for all my future mounting needs.

I liked the first one so much I bought a second. Easy to install if you can find your studs. if you have a TV over 50lbs, it is a 2 man job to hang it as the rail hooks need to seat and than can take a second hand.

Were very happy with this mount. We bought a 75 tv. The TV barely fit on our tv stand and everytime someone walked passed it, the whole tv wobbled. Getting on this mount was surprisingly simple and it feels very secure.

We got two--one for the bedroom and one for the living room. This freed up space on the TV table for game systems! Sturdy construction and very easy instructions. It includes a template that makes marking the mounting holes easy. Well worth the price!!
