Greater than one weekI loved this pattern as soon as I saw it, but in my many years of sewing had never taken on what appeared to be an enormously challenging quilt. 40+ fabrics - 8 groups of 5 shades! It sincerely was more engaging and fun than all my previous quilts ever were. Once I picked fabrics (I selected my own, using all patterned fabrics and not the solids recommended) and taped them to the front cover as recommended, I was able to focus 100% on the cutting and sewing. The various animals made it more enjoyable - I was able to tackle each animal group, feeling success with each section, rather than feeling overwhelmed by a WHOLE quilt of just one pattern. Im thrilled with the final product, as is my daughter who will have her fantastic forest on her bed until she is grown and gives it to her daughter or grands. Not ideal for the novice sewer, but anyone who has made a quilt before can absolutely do this! :-)

> 3 dayThe pattern looks like it will be fun to make. I have not started the quilt yet but will be retiring soon and it will be my first project. I love all the animals in the quilt.

> 3 dayVery well written pattern. All of the small pieces will take a lot of time for cutting and sewing, but the end result will be adorable.

> 3 dayI now realise why this pattern was quite pricey, it is very detailed, but well explained with clear illustrations and instructions. Cant wait to start this for the forthcoming grand babies.
