none of the dies will even start to cut a thread!

What I didn’t like on this kit was it didn’t come with a starter tap that’s important to have a start and a finish taps not two of the same

its not heavy duty .. the dies are small, dont fit standard size handles ..

When bought the description said: 35 Taper Taps + 35 Plug Taps + 35 Dies + 2 Tap Wrench M3-M12,M6-M20 + 1 Die Holder 25mm,38mm O/D + 1 T-Type Tap Wrench M3-M6. There are *no* taper taps! Most of those taps are plug taps, with some of the pairs being more of a bottoming tap. That is. You get 35 pairs of tabs with the same chamfer for each piece in the pair. Some of the pairs are just bottoming taps, with one or two threads chamfer. This means that you will not be able to use those without proper machining tools to cut any threads. You may have luck with re-threading.

Used these every day just about. Nice product.
