This is a well-built product. What I like best are: (1) the material is a soft silicone which together with the peaks and valleys indentation on the back provides good grip; (2) the bulk of the cover gives the remote the heft and feel of a conventional remote, making it easier to operate and less likely to be dropped; and (3) there is plenty of cushioning for the rather fragile Apple TV remote in the event of an accidental drop. Also, Ive had no problems whatsoever in operating the left and right sides of the touch pad for playback or rewind (which is a common complaint Ive seen for other Apple TV remote covers).

Like so many others I don’t like the Apple Remote for Apple TV. It slick, small and the tracking pad always seems to be overly sensitive no matter how I set it. I decided to get this cover for it to see if it would help and it did. It added enough to bulk to it to take care of dropping the small remote. The remote fits snuggly and the sides of the top of the remote still click. It’s made a huge difference in the remote.

This adds much needed thickness to the remote. Ive read reviews of users who have had issues fast forwarding with the case. I have had similar issues, but there is a sweet spot on the remote just before the edge that you can hit to fast forward or skip without the edge of the case being an issue. Good buy at this price point.

I really like the thickness of the raised rubber, the ease of fit for the remote and the lockable lanyard that keeps the unit secure on my wrist. Great job Elago designers!
