The lunch box can be heated in the car. I didnt notice any difference when I heated it at office or in my car. My office is far away from my house so I spend a lot of time to and fro. So this lunch box is actually helpful in that regard. I generally make gravies and it doesnt leak so I like this box. Just make sure to close the latch properly before you pack food.

This lunch box is very good quality. The best part is the inside can be taken out to clean, compared to my old one, really love this feature.
