Although I can hear the fan, Im not going to down rate the score for that. I have considered connecting the fan to 3.3V just to try that, The lights on the side constantly change and I like that. It makes my Raspberry Pi 4 look like a little tower case computer. I eventually intend to have it sitting on top of my full server - as a contrast and for entertainment. Assembly was reasonable. I wish they had one of these for the Raspberry Pi 3B form factor.

Easy install and perfect fit. If I built another I’d buy it again

I fell in love at first sight. I had a PI 4 in a fancy case, but which had no fan, so I was worried about it. I think this is one of the nicest cases Ive ever seen, just begging for further upgrades and mode.

Im writing this using the Pi I installed in this case. I bought this because it had a large heat sink. That proved to be a good thing, once I got it working. It runs cool enough, the fan is quiet although it would have been nice to have a temperature-controlled fan. The connectors are super-accessible, but Im a bit nervous about the power, HDMI, and audio connectors. Until I can get a KVM switch, I will have to connect and disconnect at least the audio plug. The back connectors and the SD slot are nicely done. One final problem; at least 2 of the screw holes for the acrylic side panels are stripped, and I didnt apply a lot of torque to the screwdriver. Still, its the best Pi case Ive used, and I highly recommend it.

It takes quite a bit more assembly than the standard RPi case, but it was all done in ten minutes. It looks great, and seems substantial. I got worried when the first review for this case (which was added after I made the purchase but before I received it) was two-stars, claiming that the fan doesnt work. I dont know what that means exactly; does the fan run but it doesnt cool the CPU? Does it not run at all? Anyway, my fan works perfectly well. The case is great; its nice that it relocates the GPIO pins so that theyre accessible without opening the case, as well as clearly labeled. Theres lots of lights, but to be honest, if it was all up to me, Id probably coordinate the lights so that theres only one color. This way, theres a red light on my pi board, theres a white light in the fan, and theres blue and red lights on the GPIO relcator card; not to mention all of these lights are seen through green plexi-glass. So its a bit of a mess aesthetically in my humble opinion. Id almost rather the sides be black or tinted dark for a more clean look. Nevertheless, it works gloriously, and the fan isnt obnoxiously loud.

I put a Pi with an ice tower inside the case. Everything fits well. I was surprised that the black part of the case is made out of metal. I was planning to carve a bigger hole to allow my x826 ssd attachment. I decided to mount the ssd on the bottom instead with the screws and standoffs. If you make a similar set up with dedicated x826 space on the bottom, Ill buy it in a heart beat.

I do really like the case and it fits my Ice Tower Cooler great. I was however a bit disappointed in the little plastic screws that hold the plexi on the sides. They do not hold well at all, <sarcasm>you would think a tiny plastic screw that barely grabs into a metal housing would work great</sarcasm>, the longer black screws work much better but they do not include enough of them to get the job done. In the end the case is ok, if you dont mind missing a few screws(purely aesthetics though)

I have it installed and it looks great, we are going to present it at an IT Expo as an economical solution with a very good presentation.

I purchased this for a pi 4B. The assembly instructions were great. The unit looks great. Access to the sd card is fantastic. Materials and workmanship are great. It looks nice sitting on my desktop and although its a little larger than a compact pi case, I love looking at it.

Nice enclosure. Easy to assemble. Cute but maybe price could be lower?
