Electronic Arts FIFA 22 (PS4)

I bought this for my twin grandsons for Christmas and they love it

Unfortunately another replica of Fifa 21, with just a new template of the menus and transfer updates. Serie A is an absolute horrorshow with all top teams having lost their license to another football game. Fifa is no longer the best when it comes to licensing as italian teams with fake names and fake kits reminds me of pes06. Gameplay is another disaster with goalkeepers all feels like 99 beasts even a championship team. Doesnt even deserve a star in all honesty.

Did I really just spend £30 on this for the screen to be saying “initialising” I don’t understand.

Good gameplay, enjoyed by the boys in our youth group every week. Its the universal football game, cant go wrong.

This game is broken, every game ends 6-4 ish. The passing has been destroyed from past games! Ea can spout all the legal hairs they want, this game is scripted! You only have to play a few games to see it! My last ever Fifa :(

Son very pleased with this game after having it each year he comments that this is an impressive upgrade compared to recent years.

Bought this cheap-ish a few months ago, hoping it would be better than 21. Sadly, its more of the same. I mainly play career mode and am so disappointed in the lack of attention that mode gets - nonsensical board objectives, repetitive interviews etc. Also feel like too many licensed leagues and teams are being lost and replaced with ones no one cares about. The gameplay is inconsistent - there are far too many high scoring games as AI defending is terrible. Not bothered about FIFA 23 at all.
