I’m new to using steppers and these are the first ones I’ve had. I got them because I have a few projects in mind that could benefit from their qualities. The packaging and everything was very nice, and getting five motors and five drivers for this price is incredible. However, they’re cheap quality as one might expect. There is a bit of slop in the gearing when stationary, but not much (maybe 2-5°). I was disappointed at the low amount of torque they had, even driven slowly with full stepping I could overpower them with my fingers on the little shaft. Still, with the appropriate output gearing, these could be plenty strong for a lot of applications.

Only started testing but seems to be a good product

Great little motors and nice controller board. The gear head fits snugly into Lego gears (you might need to trim gear mounting a little). Not a lot of torque, but fantastic for the price. I ended up ordering 4 sets of these for various projects. Took a little time to figure out the stepper sequence, but good reference on the web.

Goy these to experiment with a Raspberry Pi and they work as advertised. Follow the instructions to get them running and off you go.
