This is an exact duplicate of the original plate for the Mars 3. Fits perfectly, easy to install, and uninstall. Has the same sandblasted face as the original.

Does what its supposed to, ball joint spring is nice and springy out of the box, leveling was a breeze.

Love the bed, and had to buy one replacement which is what I’m reviewing now because I went too hard on tightening the two bolts which holds the bed in place when leveling. Doing it too tight will strip the screw holes.

The ball joint seems to have been damaged as when I go to level the bed, it catches on something and only releases when I untighten the bolts. It works though.

Easy replacement part that works great.

This is the OEM build plate for the MARs 3. Like all elegoo products it suffers from quality control issues. I have 3 plates. 2 work great and stay put through scraping and cleaning. The other plate gets tight enough to print on, but moves during print removal. I have a lot of elegoo products and have come to expect returning/exchanging about half of what I order due to simple defects/issues. Their customer service is awesome, but QC is terrible.
