This product appears to be made of very heavy metal and uses a 3M two-sided tape on back. It appears to be made of very good material and the finish is nice. I would buy again for my specific project.

Nice looking - seems to have adhered to the license plate area of the car well. This Winter will be the test!

I was surprised these were metal, the one I ordered before was plastic with a chrome-like finish. Either would be fine but I was happy to find they were metal. I bought a new car and the emblem I had on my old car wouldnt easily come off so I ordered this as a replacement. Very happy and would order again.

UPDATE 07/17/19: Unfortunately at just over a year my emblem has almost none of the black left on it. This means all the detail that made this product look so sharp is now lost. I realize this item is only $15 but I did expect it to be on my truck for more then a year. Extremely disapointed as I really did like this product when I first got it. - Orginal 5* review from May 29 2018 - Definitely nicer then I expected for the price range. Looks great on my truck.
