eMedia Singing Method [Old Version]

I read a lot of negative reviews about this, but decided to try it myself. I didnt realize the instructor is a very bold, soprano opera singer. While I respect the talent, the sound of opera singing is something I find extremely annoying. Im almost 60 and many of the songs chosen to sing are before my time. I was looking forward to singing along with some pop, high energy songs. Its just not there. I cant carry a tune to save my soul and I was hoping that learning to enhance my voice in my spare time would be a fun bucket list item. Unfortunately, Im not enjoying this at all. Even her low range is high for me, so trying to sing in the same pitch is near impossible, and I cant imagine a man could ever match pitch.
